Quietly brilliant

I do appreciate how technology has changed our lifestyle, but I am never obsessed with it. The main reason is because working as a graphic designer doesn't give me that much allowance minus all those heavy weight bills and everyday expenses. I still remember my old second hand Panasonic TV I was watching for the first 4 years of my Sydney life. It gives out this sizzling noise whenever I turned it on or tuning the channel. O... good old days.
So I never would have thought I would be a smartphone owner. But just a few months ago, I realised my Sony Ericsson is slowly dying. Frustrated, I decided to look for a new phone.
There were lots of choices in the market and it was very confusing at first, but after some long reading of reviews and specs, this one phone stood out from the crowd - htc Legend.
A week ago, I've got it from Henry as my belated birthday present. And I am loving it! I can check email, go online, navigate and even take lomo photos!
O dear, I can't believe I am saying this, but I love my phone.

A world away, not a world apart

My parents flew a few thousand miles across the Pacific Ocean to visit me for 2 weeks, so it was a perfect excuse for me to take some time off work. We travelled south to this mystic island called Tasmania (Van Diemen's land). It was the second time I've been to the island, but I was still amazed at how much more I could discover on this small island.
Now that I am back in Sydney and Mum & Dad gone back home, I felt like a part of me is left on the island... I wonder when will I ever go back again?

Home

It has been nearly a month since I've moved to Paddington. I am still getting used to writing my new address on the mail and some other things like cooking with the gas stove, paying $1.20 for the laundry, or walking down Oxford St to Townhall station for work.
But change is good, says Henry. I guess he was right, because I am falling in love with this new place already.

Patient is virtue

It has been a few months since I started looking for a bridesmaid dress for my cousin's wedding.
It was like a treasure hunt and there were alot of distractions, but I know patient is virtue.
And I found it - the perfect dress.

Found: Things We Forget

It is always incredible to find like-minded people around the globe doing their best to make the world a better place to live in. Another awesome idea was born in Singapore - Things We Forget.

Hunter Valley

After some exhausting months, we finally got a chance to get away from everything. It was nice to be able to wander around unknown places and think of nothing but food and wine. Even though it was 3 short days, the memories I've brought back will last forever.
